Science "Starters"
How will Science class begin each day?
Science Daily are daily tasks that help students engage with the topic and lesson of the day. Sometimes the request is to high-five our lab parter or to welcome a guest speaker into our space. Other times, it might be to define a key term from the textbook or draw what you think an autotroph looks like. These daily tasks may be a review of a previous lesson or a priming question to the day's topic.

Vocabulary
How will I gain a better understanding of key scientific vocabulary?
Being able to understand key scientific concepts is one part of the success puzzle in Science. Another, is to be able to recognize and use key scientific terms in context. For each unit, students will be responsible for recognizing and applying key scientific terms in context.
