GENIUS HOUR: What's your passion?
Genius hour is a movement that allows students to explore their own passions and encourages creativity in the classroom. It provides students a choice in what they learn during a set period of time during school. (Source: http://www.geniushour.com)
When you are ready for a challenge, you can begin Genius "Hour." I put "Hour" in quotations because it may be more or less than an hour of work each week, depending on your other expectations for classes. You can always put down your GH project, and you can always pick it back up again. It is your independent project and you work at your pace! You are in charge, and your teachers are here to help!
The 3 Rules of Genius Hour:
1. Start with a question, and it must be something you're passionate about! Here are some examples...
2. It must involve research... and more than just a simple Google search.
3. It must be pleasantly shareable.
